Inside Media has been the retained UK agency for the Continental Tyres consumer account since January 2009.
Continental's objective is to extend its audience reach outside existing activity, which focussed on trade media and specialist consumer motoring press. Therefore, Inside Media's aim is to promote Continental as an authoritative brand in terms of motoring safety.
Inside Media has produced a variety of campaigns for Continental including 3minmax – promoting the idea that it is easy to check your tyres in 3 minutes or under, with a dedicated website www.3minmax.com. This website won the 'best website' category at the 2010 CIPR PRide Awards.
As Continental was also an Official Sponsor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, Inside Media supported the investment with PR, ensuring that Continental is linked with the tournament and football.
We also jointly run the @ContiUK twitter account, working with the in-house team, using competitions to build followers and communicating the expertise of the brand with links to safety information.
The account also includes working on the Uniroyal brand, the rain expert tyre, which is owned by Continental.
